Hi everyone, my name is Natasha and i wanted to create a blog surrounding the environment and sustainability, but i don't just want it to be like "go Vegan" and protesting, im not going to be doing that. i would like to take a more positive approach and provide information, tips and guides as to what we can do as everyday people.

I've been on my "eco journey" for about 5 years now, although i would say i have always been some what conscious from a young age, it wasn't until those 5 years ago that i started to dive deeper into environmental issues, it began really because i was having breathing issues, i was on my daily hour walk to work at the time and i was trying to find the why i had breathing problems from time to time, i came to one possible reason could be the environment and pollution, not saying that was the conclusive answer but it probably weren't helping.

So i went down a long winding rabbit hole of researching environmental issues and what needs to be done to reverse the effects of the climate crisis and its then pledged to start doing my bit to help...

so now i have bored you with that intro, i would like to share some tips to get started on your own eco journey.

Tip 1: Research

i think researching environmental issues and the climate crisis is the best place to start, whatever your reason is that has introduced you to becoming more eco-friendly and more conscious of the environment, knowing what is happening and how the things we do on a daily basis affect the environment is something to be dived into as it expands to other issues i.e. mental and physical issues, economic issues, social issues etc.

here are some helpful sites

Tip 2 : reflect on your daily habits

so now you have done some research, i would advise you to think about what you do on a daily basis and what areas are you contributing negatively or could improve, so think about.

. how much are consuming? are you a serial shopper?

. do you waste a lot of food?

. how do you get to work? do you have a a fuel guzzling car?

. how much electric/gas do you use? can you use less?

Tip 3: Adopting greener habits

okay so you have reflected on your daily habits and no doubt there are things that aren't so great for the environment, so now its time to do something about it.
